After moving to the North East in 2012, founder Sam went on to launch Coastal Hampers, bringing together products from independent businesses across the North East region to create locally inspired gifts for individuals and organisations.

What started as a small local gifting business soon grew into something much bigger. Coastal Hampers has gone on to deliver large-scale corporate gifting projects involving thousands of gifts, including major projects for NHS organisations and other businesses, while supporting dozens of independent producers across the North East.

Having seen first-hand what could be achieved by bringing brilliant local products together under one brand, Sam began thinking about the place he grew up.

Why not bring the idea home?

And so, Mersey Hampers was created - taking the experience and knowledge built through Coastal Hampers and using it to showcase the fantastic independent businesses, products and producers found across Liverpool, the Wirral and the wider Merseyside region.

Today, Mersey Hampers is proud to be the sister company of Coastal Hampers, sharing the same commitment to local businesses, thoughtful gifting and the ability to deliver everything from a single gift to large-scale corporate projects.
